Thanks for visiting my site and my page.

I’m one of those crazy right-brain, left-brain people. I’m a math geek with a degree in computer science who also happens to have an eye for design, art, and color. I’ve spent most of my professional career in computer related fields while nurturing my artistic pursuits outside of the office.

My love of photography started to blossom when I was  living in London in the 1990’s.  Those years taught me a lot about composition and light and I’ve never looked back since.

I’ve been blessed to have had my worked noticed by the Archetectural Foundation of Cincinnati and featured in their brochures, and the Cincinnati Enquirer featured my work of Alberly Manor in both a multi-page full color print spread as well as a large online feature along with uber-famous photographer Margaret Bourque-White. In 2011, I participated in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk and one of my photos was chosen as the Cincinnati winner among many hundreds of photos taken that weekend among my peer professional photographers. While I didn’t win the international competition, it was really cool to have my work considered.

Recently, I’ve had a photograph picked up by National Geographic publications, which is probably the greatest compliment that I could dream of getting as a photographer.

Earlier this year (2013) I was asked to be a photographer for Magic Hour Foundation, a charitable organization that provides fine art photography services for cancer warriors and their families.  I am also a volunteer photographer for The Dragonfly Foundation here in Cincinnati, which provides comfort and joy for kids and young adults fighting cancer. Helping others while doing what I love to do has been such a blessing in my life.
