Studio Policies

Out of fairness to both our customers and ourselves we enforce the following studio policies for all sessions:

Cancellation/rescheduling policy: We will go to great lengths to meet your schedule needs and in return we ask that you keep the appointments you set. Because we take no more than two clients per day and because our weekend and evening sessions are in high demand we have a 72 hour cancellation notice requirement for all photo and ordering sessions. Missed appointments or those canceled with less than 72 hours notice will forfeit their session deposit. Weather postponements do not incur cancellation fees IF we have agreed on the postponement – please don’t skip your appointment without confirming first. We will be glad to work with your scheduling needs for documented emergencies.

Refund policy:  Due to the nature of digital photography and the time and effort we put into each and every session before, during, and after the session, we have a strict NO REFUND POLICY. Once a session has been completed, it is considered non-refundable. Refunds will not be given due to “not liking a photo” or collection of photos. If a client is unhappy with their photos, additional session time of 1 hour will be offered to the client in addition to a CD with 5 high resolution edited images at no additional charge.

Order sessions: We do not offer paper or other take-home proof materials. Your order session will be scheduled when your online proofing gallery becomes available and order sessions are done face to face.  After you place your initial order, your gallery will be updated and made available for online orders if desired.  Online galleries will be online for approximately 30 days before they are removed.  Galleries may be reinstated for 7 days for a $35 fee.

Reproduction rights: In accordance with Federal Law no reproduction rights are granted for any image we provide. In the event that you receive digital files they may only be reproduced for personal use and never sold or re-licensed.

Orders: Because of the uniqueness of your photos all orders are final when placed. Defects in workmanship will be promptly corrected. Additional costs may be incurred should you change your mind about which photo(s) you want to have after those photos have been produced. If a photograph, cnavas or other work becomes damaged in your possession (not due to faulty workmanship) we will gladly work with you to produce a replacement. Replacement costs vary by type and size of your art, please contact the studio to obtain a current price.

Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, personal and bank checks. A $35 administrative fee will be added to orders where a check doesn’t clear. A $50 session deposit is required to secure your session date.  Session fee payment is due in full three business days before your session. Product orders are due in full at the time of your order. For orders over $1000 we offer split payment options and payment must be made in full before any prints or other products are delivered. In the event that you are offered split payments, your first payment will be due at the time you place your order and your credit card will automatically be charged when your order is complete (please note that you will be charged when your order is ready to pick up even if you delay the pickup).

Retouching and style: We will do our best to accommodate your blemish removal and other retouching requests. Some requests are simply not possible and others may be so complex that an additional fee is required. We will inform you at the time of your order of any adjustments to be made for retouching. In the case of all toning, retouching and other adjustments please be aware that everything we create is hand printed and as such small variances are a normal part of the process. When in doubt we will rely on our professional experience to create what we believe is the best presentation of any given image.

Photography/recording of our sessions: There is no photography or other recording allowed during any of our sessions, this includes order sessions.
