The Wedding of Michael and Shannon | Old Orchard Beach, Maine

As you know, I am not a wedding photographer, but every year I end up saying YES to the DRESS and everything else that a wedding entails for a few special people. I have to know them, the weddings have to be small, and no Bridezillas or Momzillas allowed!

It’s always a honor to be asked to shoot a wedding, after all, there is no do-over if things don’t go right. It’s especially special (is that redundant), to be asked to shoot the wedding of a fellow photographer, so when Michael, another photographer that I have been collaborating with for years, and his fiancé Shannon asked me to come to Maine to shoot their beach wedding, how could I NOT say YES! Besides, I have been all over the world, but I’ve never been to Maine, and it’s been a bucket-list thing for me for forever, so about a week ago I flew up to Maine for Michael and Shannon’s amazing, toes in the sand, drink in your hand beautiful beach wedding. Hurricane Henri was threatening, but didn’t slow anything down on Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Here are some sneak peeks as promised, and I have included a few shots from our sunrise shoot at 5:30am on OOB on the morning of the wedding.
