Greetings from the 18th floor balcony of our timeshare in South Florida! I haven’t posted much because frankly, I have been on vacation and doing other things that I never ever do in Cincinnati, like sport fishing, sunbathing, swimming in the ocean, and reading BOOKS. I tend to read all my books when we’re on vacation because I just don’t get much reading time at home.
Anyhow, we’ve been coming here for about a dozen years now and it feels like our home away from home. It doesn’t take long to “wind down” and get into that island groove. I thought I’d get a lot more done here ~ as in photo editing ~ and I just haven’t. I’ve been pretty much a slug. I guess that’s what vacation is all about, right?
After all these years, it seems like I keep taking the same pics over and over, and this year is no exception. Well, there is ONE exception and that’s that I did a senior shoot down in South Beach / Miami Beach on Wednesday. Those sneak peeks and some of the fun shots that we took when we were enjoying some of SoBe’s fun will be up in a few more days. We also went offshore sport fishing with our favorite boat captain, Capt’n Wes Russell, and I’ll have those pics up tomorrow. In the meantime, here are some of my 2013 shots. Life IS a bit more twisted and fun with a fisheye lens, I will admit….
I made a traditional English breakfast for the Wimbledon final last Sunday ~ if all goes well, hopefully we’ll be in that crowd next year instead of watching from Florida!
Great skies here ~ it’s always dramatic when there are thunderheads around. That’s it for now, more tomorrow!
