On the movie’s opening night, the students my daughter’s school Book Club celebrated with a “Gatsby Gala” and then went to see the movie. I snapped a few pics of my flapper girl before she left for the soiree. I think…  My friend and assistant Colin and I went down the the University of Cincinnati campus a week or so ago just for fun. I was in a really crabby mood and he said he’d shake me out of it with a campus tour – which I had never done before! We had a really fun…  Athlete, scholar, musician…and five pint sized feet of pure fire…that’s Alice B and she’s graduating in about 5 weeks or so. Alice will be attending the University of Michigan (woot woot – Go Blue) in the fall and will be on their women’s rowing team. Needless to say, I couldn’t be happier and we look…  My dog was in the hospital, My kid was in the hospital, My central air died, My car died, It snowed (okay, it didn’t really snow). Yes, I feel as if my life HAS turned into a country song as of late. Apologies for no update, no sneak peeks. I’ve had the best of intentions,…  Shannon turned 16 a month ago. We were coming home from a photography convention and saw this train and this awesome old abandoned gas station with great graffiti. We just had to stop. These days I’m grateful that she still lets me take her picture. |
