Well this is not my typical post, or my typical sneak peek because this is my own, one and only child Mauri. Some of you probably know her better as Shannon, but after somewhat of a challenging year last year, she’s made some changes in her life, including going by a version of her middle name (Maureen) which she’s always liked.
Each year it seems like I get the opportunity to do at least one great “location” shoot. This year is tough to beat, as we promised her a trip to England before her senior year. I did her photos in Carnaby Street and in Kensington Park/Kensington Gardens and in front of Kensington Palace (where Will and Kate live). The gardens are so beautiful there, and there are many tributes to the late Princess Diana. It was such a special treat for me to do her photos in London, which is so dear to me.
Anyhow, Mauri has quite the colorful and creative flair and I think that her photos really show that. Obviously it was really tough for me to cut them down, but I’ll show you some of my own favorites. You probably couldn’t love these as much as I do, but I guess that’s understandable! Apologies to Mauri for having her pics put on the back burner, but as they say…the cobbler’s kid never has shoes. She has pics….plenty of them, but unedited ones!
The shot below was taken in front of a poster/ad. I thought it would be cool to make her a part of the group. It worked!
Jan Connair - Possibly the most gorgeous eyes I’ve ever seen. Love the way Mauri looks right into the camera as if to say, “here I am; take THAT!”
Barb - I can’t disagree. She’s an awesome model, always has been. Thanks Jan <3
Brenda Kelley Kim - I can’t even pick three or four that are the best they are all amazing. She looks great, so confident and happy. Nice job Mom!
