Last fall my pal and fellow photographer Michael Lacey asked me if I’d be interested in shooting a fantasy/concept/editorial shoot with a modified Alice in Wonderland theme. Well heck YEAH! It was such a fun experience doing something like this, especially because all I really had to do was shoot it, I didn’t have to plan it or coordinate all the styling. It was so much fun and I’m thrilled at how all the images turned out.
We shot at a beautiful tree farm in rural Lebanon (Ohio!). Michael has driven by this property many times and in the fall decided to stop by and chat with the owners. As it turns out, it was a beautiful property. We got the owners involved in the shoot and I think they had a great time. I know that it was a first for them, that’s for sure.
Shoots like this don’t just happen on their own, this took quite a bit of thought, planning and coordination! So here goes…
- Michael Lacey ~ The White Rabbit model, project coordinator, and concept genius
- Lindsay Lescoe ~ Alice model and props coordinator
- Brianna Longworth ~ Little Red Riding Hood model
- Jenifer Quinn Wilson ~ makeup
- Sunny DePew ~ hairstyling
