Bloom for Stepping Stones Gala 2017

Wowzers. I know, I know…I have not been updating. I have SO much to show you…a wedding, some amazing family sessions and a fantastic new crop of seniors. They’re all in the queue and I promise to do better starting TODAY.

This past Saturday I was given the opportunity to be the event photographer at the annual Bloom Gala, benefitting Stepping Stones. Andy and I (and Mauri too!) have attended Bloom as guests in the past and it’s always a great time for a great cause. Stepping Stones does so much to help disabled children, teens, and adults in our community improve the quality of their lives and participate in life to the very best of their abilities. While we don’t have first hand experience with Stepping Stones, we do have people near and dear to us who do and I know what a blessing this organization has been in their lives. So needless to say, I was thrilled to be invited to document this lovely annual event, held this year at the amazing Greenacres Arts Center in Indian Hill.

It was the perfect night and the perfect weather for Bloom, hosted this year by Andy’s cousin Paul Hogan and his wife Terri. Paul and Terri are not only the best party hosts, but they also have a keen familiarity with Stepping Stones so I can’t think of a better couple to be this year’s co-chairmen. It was also Terri’s birthday so that was an extra bit of fun added in to an already lovely mix.

I will share a few pics that were especially special to me, but I hope you’ll take the time to watch my slideshow, which will make you feel like you were there if you weren’t and bring back fun memories for those of us who were!

Let’s get this picture party started with my own family, Andy and Mauri…
