Hello….is anybody out there?

I have been shameful about keeping up with my blog, even though I have vowed that this year I would be better.  I still have older photos yet to show you, but I thought I’d bust back into the summer with some great sneak peeks from some BRAND NEW SENIORS, and two of my models for the Class of 2015.

Meet Hannah and Katie ~ two BFFs who just happen to go to different schools.  I love how much they love being around each other ~ even so much that they had their senior pics taken together!  Hannah is a new senior at Mason High School, and Katie is a new senior at Lakota East High School.  Hannah is small, curvy and sassy with thick dark hair, very dark eyes, and Italian blood in her veins. Katie is tall and blonde, with a shy smile.  To look at them, you’d think they were opposites, but in this case, it’s a total match!

We took advantage of some spectacular Memorial Day weather to get out there and take some pics.  I swear, there is nothing like early morning light.  So beautiful!

Hanna is a heck of a “hooper”.  I loved it that she brought her hoop and showed me her stuff, along with her hippie-chick, boho style.  Watching that hoop sparkle in the sun…well, I just love everything that sparkles, so of course I loved every second of THAT.

Katie claimed that she felt a bit awkward in front of the camera and that she didn’t really know what to do, but guess what?  She really DID, even if she didn’t realize it. The pics on the lower right here was a total fail on my part, but I kind of like how it turned out.  It shows off those big soulful eyes!

After we left the countryside, we headed down to Clifton for a bit of colorful urban fun.

I told the girls that we always run into interesting people while out taking photos, and most people are just really interested in the process. In the case of the boys below, they were much more interested in the GIRLS than the process.  The girls were very good sports. They were super nice to the guys, even if a love connection wasn’t in the cards.

Aaaah yes…..It’s so nice to be out taking senior pics again.  Life IS good!
