Normally I’m always behind the camera. Even when I was younger, thinner, and waaaay cuter, I really didn’t like getting my picture taken. I have a crooked front tooth and a not so nice person used to call me “snaggletooth” when she wanted to twist the knife into my self-esteem and it really did work!
Needless to say, we are way overdue for having photos taken. I was so busy doing everybody else’s pics this fall, there was little time to have my own done. Fortunately, and with a little help from my friend and assistant Colin, we got them done after Christmas. The bonus? It snowed that day! We’ve had basically no snow for two years now, so it was just the perfect day and it was such a fun surprise. We all had a blast – even Andy had a lot of fun and he hates doing that kind of thing more than anybody.
We started out at a local park close to our house with the dogs, and then took the dogs home, grabbed our golf clubs (yes, in the snow!), and headed over to Ivy Hills for some silly golf shots. Big kudos to Colin Baker for taking all of these. It was his first real opportunity doing portrait work for somebody else and I think he did a great job, even with uncooperative dogs. He’ll be studying photography in college next year and he’s going to rock it!
Maggie - LOVE these. Fabulous, fun, flirty.
The heck with that stupid girl.
You’re beautiful!
Christene - GREAT shots! They turned out perfectly. The one of you with your leg a little out to the side at the park — so sassy — LOVE it! So much fun. You are all so photogenic! You take awesome pics, but you rocked being in front of the camera, too. <3
